Pizza is the most versatile food ever made, so many flavor options with several toppings and variations in the sauce as well. The cheese oozing out of the yummy crust flavored with sauce and served hot....ooo I am hungry just by describing it. I have been itching to make a yummy flavorful INDIAN version with my favorite ingredient PANEER since a long time and so after little tweaks and tricks I got the taste I was looking for. This one is special cuz it's so simple to put together and I chose the ingredients available in most of our fridge and pantry so whenever you feel like you can just make this for an lazy weeknight dinner or lunch or a party filled weekend and even on the grill. Don't worry if you do not have the spices mentioned below they are easily available in any INDIAN grocery stores close to you.
This recipe is very easy to make and you can also use it as a meal prep dish for your busy days. The TANDOORI PANEER PIZZA is a perfect mix of tandoori flavor mixed with paneer, bell peppers and onions. Its simple yet restaurant worthy and you are going to have a crowd pleaser on your next get together or for a family meet now that the lock down is easing down.
You can also choose to make it with CHICKEN breasts instead of paneer or make it both veg and non-veg to have more options. I also used the ready made FLAT BREAD CRUST available at BJ's and RAO's PIZZA SAUCE with MOZZARELLA CHEESE which was the perfect combination to elevate this recipe a bit further. This not so complicated recipe is going to blow your taste buds off the hook keeping you wanting for more. You can also slice it thinner as bread sticks and serve it as an APPETIZER with some PASTA & SALAD. So presenting to you the master piece which no one will guess was so easy and simple to pull off. Here is the list of ingredients and the recipe.
PREP TIME: 60 Mins COOK TIME: 30 MINS SERVING: 2 Pizza flatbreads

1 Cup Greek Yogurt
1/2 Lime Juice
2 Tablespoon Heavy Cream
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Curry Powder
1 Tablespoon Kashmiri Red chili powder
1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
1 Tablespoon Ginger, Garlic, Green Chili paste
Handful Cilantro chopped fine
4-5 Tablespoon Oil
*In a mixing bowl add in the yogurt, ginger, garlic, green chili paste, tandoori masala
lime juice, heavy cream, all dry spices and cilantro. Mix well.
*Add in the paneer or chicken and chopped peppers and onions and oil and mix well.
*Marinate in fridge for over an hour and keep the bowl covered.
*In a non- stick pan or skillet add in some oil and add the in the marinated mixture and cook till paneer is cooked and little browned on all sides. DO NOT ADD WATER and KEEP sttiring frequently to avoid it sticking to the pan.
*If you are using chicken breasts cut them down to bite sized pieces and cook it till chicken is done.
*Once done let it cool down a bit. Take the pizza crust apply the pizza sauce to your liking and then add on top the paneer mixture and mozzarella cheese to your liking and then bake it on 375 for 25-30 Mins till the crust is crunchy and brown.
*Add some chopped greens on top if you like, I added chopped spinach and then also added some MINT MAYO I used for my Paneer Kathi Roll recipe which is optional. The pizza tastes heavenly even without it. SLIDE BELOW FOR PICS.
